So my friend told me about this back in toronto. Basically the entirety of Star Wars episode 4 was translated (probably by hand using conversion software) from images to text (ascii characters).
I thought it might be nice for the geeks within TL. If you really want to geek it out, you'll look up how to stream using Telnet. Link: http://www.asciimation.co.nz/
Might be good for a few laughs before you get bored. What's really cool is that there were people working on image to text conversion software that does this shit automatically.

I remember someone told me to open the command prompt, and type a long code thing in, press enter, and this would play.

I remember this from ages past
It's so good fun.

Haha you are right this is funny.... I can't imagine what went into making this...

I think in XP you could type in "telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl" into your search bar and you would get this ^^
Doesn't seem to be working for Win7 though.

Doesn't seem to be working for Win7 though. That's cuz you have to go into control panel, programs and features, turn windows features on or off, and check the box next to telnet client.
My friend says he connected using some ftp client though.
