Showing where your mouse cursor is @ loading scrn

I was experimenting with my mouse settings and stumbled across a nice little setting that will help you know where your mouse is on the loading screen in SC2. I did a search and did not see this yet.

Notes: I am using Windows 7, and a windowed full screen SC2 window.

Step 1) Open the Control panel

Go to Hardware and Sound and then select "View devices and printers".

Step 2) What you should see on the next screen after you right click your Mouse. Select "Mouse Settings.

Step 3)Select Pointer Options tab. Select the "Show the pointer when I press the CTRL key."

Now when you hold down control it pings your screen where your mouse pointer is. If you are moving your mouse when you let go of the CTRL key it won't ping so making control groups in game shouldn't bring it up too often.

Hopefully someone found this helpful.

is it possible to map this to a different key? something like delete or +? i'd much rather have that than ctrl >.<

Doesn't this also give you the circle when you ctrl-1 for example?

I am not aware of a way to do this.

If you push ctrl + any key it wont pop up or if you move the mouse as you release the ctrl key.

I use this. It doesn't show the circle in game in SC2, but it does in SC1 (I got used to it there, it didn't matter).
It is also very useful for when your cursor disappears due to a bug with the divX player!

I've known about this for quite a while. I used to have it enabled because I just figured hey why not for when I lose the cursor every once in awhile, but it got old really fast. I didn't, however, think about using it during the SCII/BW loading screens, good idea.
