Hi everybody, this is my first blog and english isn'T my first language so don't flame on me if I do mistake. The point to make a blog is that I just began to play SC2 and im already top 10 in my division platinum. I never been that good in sc1 (I was something between C-, C on iccup). I'm playing toss and all my opponets are always favored so it gives me a lot of point when I win (around 30-40) and a lot only give me a minus 2 points. I'm 15-4 right now and I feel that my multitask is not that good (I got something like 120 apm)

I would like to know how you guys are doing in plat division

top X in your division isn't that important. there are hundreds of divisions, and it sounds like yours is fairly new, so most of the elo scores will be low.

C players can lead their division. especially new ones. divisions often vary a lot in average and peak skill, so don't trust the comparisons between ranks too much.

yeah its better if you tell us your elo score. mine is 1500~ which is like the middle of my division or something..

yeah, platinum from 1000~1500 should be fairly easy. Keep in mind that the ladder has been going on for some time now so the overall ELO should have increased.

I wouldn't be worried if it's too easy for you :D It'll get harder as you keep playing

Was easy from 1k-1.5k to me. I only find TvZ to be really easy.

I was D on Iccup, plat on sc2, so yeah, platinum is easy.

i got put in gold! i think cause i picked intermediate in experience or maybe it was cause i sucked in placement matches ^_^ (only lost 1 though) anyway i am/was c-/c c+ high on iccup and im fairly certain i will be able to top my gold division, don't know how much difference it is from plat though.

Neither league placement or ELO rating is a fair assesment of skill really compared to say iCCup rankings (that are fairly accurate).

If you are C, C-, you should be top of platinum. Platinum is scaled to about a D-, maybe a bit lower. Keep in mind that it's not ICCUP players playing on SC2, it's everyone. I don't play scbw or wc3, and I was #3 plat in my division for a while.
