This is actually something I've thought about too, to, as a doctor, watch your patient die before you and be legally bound to let it happen. Especially if it's a patient you've dealt with on a regular basis... can't imagine how hard that would feel. | ||

I can imagine the mental toil placed upon the doctor/EMT at this situation... I remember back in middle school, as I was in the car on the way to school, and one of the fierce topics of debate was on whether or not to take this ailing woman off life support or not... Not exactly the same thing, but still made me think :/ Very well written. I'm sorry for you, good sir, and the family of the deceased. | ||
