EPTQuestion is; How do you draft adequately? It's a head to head, mixed league.. league.
I'm guessing first round you take the absolute machines first no matter what position they are... then what? Advice would be great, I'm in 3 leagues all for $.

And the categories you dominate mainly come from your first pick. For example, if you select Ryan Howard, the categories you want are HR/Runs/RBIs. Just punt SB and AVG so target players who contribute mostly to the above cats. Never draft a closer early. I don't remember the statistics, but about a little less than half of all mlb teams experienced a change in closers. If you're just aggressive on the waivers, you can get some quality closers/saves. Depending on the number of people in your leagues, you have to draft differently. If there's a large number (12+), you have to draft mainly on upside and put more on a premium of shallower positions. If there's a smaller number, just draft the best available player that fits your strategy. Oh and I'm assuming your leagues are using the standard 5x5 format. | ||
