Ratings are very important in determining which shows get renewed or canceled. The problem is I watch a lot of my t.v. online, especially since the t.v. in my room makes a weird buzzing noise that is really annoying so I almost never use it. Anyway, would you list your favorite shows even if you didn't really watch them?  | ||

for me, I watch Fringe, Mentalist, and House from the ctv.ca and globaltv.com websites so they still put ads and shit and i still watch the show using their means so imo i wouldn't feel like i'm lying. put it this way, the survey is asking you, if we put on "this" show, would YOU watch it? and subsequently, would people like you watch it? you can pretend you represent everybody that watches your show but doesn't get the survey  btw, isn't this one of the reasons we have the digital television black box now? aside from bringing you television in HD from across the nation, i thought they also note what you watch and translate it into ratings. | ||
