The problem must be drones - don't build them. + Show Spoiler + Also to fix your Warcraft III problem I suggest to not build peons

drone is selected off-centre.
make random box in random place.
camera centres on previously selected drone.
what do you have issue with?
|
LOL Try that in BW and you will see what I'm talking about. How can you do anything if everytime you click somewhere your mouse just go back to the previously selected units?
|
Lol ZeroCartin I'm pretty sure this is a real problem for him. He's saying that if he has a unit selected, goes off screen (which explains why his minimap is "somewhere else"), then makes a box, the screen will center back onto the selected unit. Also, if you notice, his mouse cursor in the second picture is exactly where it is in the third, which follows the description of his problem.
Unfortunately, I have no idea what the solution could be, but hopefully someone who does will figure something out for you

Uh I think you solved your own problem in the OP.. But I don't know if you can downgrade SP3 -> SP2

But I don't know if you can downgrade SP3 -> SP2 but that makes no sense. sp3 should not cause mouse problems in SC. i mean i'm sure there's a bunch of people running sp3 and SC just fine. does your mouse bug in normal settings as well?

The ghost is clearly messing with you. You should play Terran
Seriously though, that's really messed up. Maybe try updating your mouse drivers to the latest version?

I think it could be some mouse gesture software running in background (from mouse driver itself or some other program), or it could be some kind of a prank - it's easy to do such thing in AutoHotkey. Try disabling some programs , or see if it presists in safe mode (F8 during startup). I'm pretty shure it isn't from SP2->SP3 migration gl!

This is quite likely, I know that space bar will return focus to the last "alert" but in the screen shots, it's re centering on the drone. In starcraft, Ctrl + C centers focus, which seems more likely to be the case. What other command does Ctrl + C perform? Copy. So find out what is causing selecting something to auto copy

Yes that is exactly what the problem is. Try to read what he is saying again.
