1. Focus Every man should have a focus or goal in life that he works hard on to accomplish. Whether its winning WCG or not, it has to be something the man is truly passionate about and deeply focused on. The problem in life is that there are too many distractions that take our mind off what we truly want. Everything around you has potential to take your focus off your work. The biggest culprit is entertainment media, such as TV, music, movies and the internet. It's great to be able to escape reality once in a while, but keep your focus on what you truly want in life because that's long-term. Focus is the #1 important thing you can improve to own life ez.
2. Energy Do you wake up feeling like you just got ran over by a bus? Waking up with energy and maintaining that balance of energy throughout your day can be difficult. The biggest thing I have found that has helped me is to go to bed earlier, not overeat my meals and think positive about the future. When we put our utmost energy in a task and couple that with focus that is where we have the potential to excel the most. Improving your energy is the #2 way you can iown life ez.
3. Self-Control We all have bad habits we do that we want to stop, but never get around to putting an effort into actually changing. Improving our self-control and just saying, "no" when an opportunity to do that bad habit comes is very self-empowering. Keeping your word to yourself when you say you will or will not do something is also self-empowering. It will teach you self-control and allow you to own life ez.
4. Self-Awareness Do you go through life in a walking daze or are you actually aware of your actions? Most people go through life not really self-aware about what they are doing. Instead, they are just going through the motions and routine they do day after day. In order to improve your self-awareness you have to ask yourself how you feel about yourself and why you feel that way. Then you can start to make a change. Sometimes we need a reality slap in the face to get us to see what we are doing and whether it is truly benefiting us or not.
5. Relaxation State The ability to control your relaxation state is crucial in owning life ez. In our life we will face many difficult situations that give us two options: 1. freak out and go apeshit, 2. Assess the situation and understand what needs to be done to solve the problem. Option 1 is easy, but option 2 requires us to trigger a relaxation state so that we can think clearly and make a decision not based on emotional reaction, but based on the actual situation at hand. Keeping our poise is something that will require self-awareness. In fact, most of these things are good when improved on their own, but when you improve all five of things collectively as a system, that is where its most effective.

what a fitting signature. I feel as though your words are lost... it's hard to put a self-help post as short and vague as your's, and expect it to actually help.

Why do you make big blogs and not discuss them with the people in the blog afterwards?

you can take advice from tom, dick, and harry or you can listen to the inner whisperings of the ancients.

I find these blogs quite entertaining, keep making them

Do you have any other tips for this? I've tried going to bed early, eating properly, and pretty much everything else you can think of but I'm always completely exhausted when I'm waking up to the point that I can't make the connection between a ringing alarm clock and pushing a snooze or off button.

Im just like this, as are millions of other people. This is just something that differs between people, some people are just morning people and some aren't, this has been scientifically proven.
The OP just has no clue what he's talking about.
Also try to put your alarm not within your reach.

I find putting a single alarm out of reach is bad because it's too painful to get up on the first ring, but if I put my second alarm set 15-20 minutes later on the other side of the room then I get 20 minutes to snooze with a set wake-up time!
