I was going through this thinking "I wonder if anyone will break 100?" and then I realized CAT-5 can only do 100 Mbps and I was like, "I'm retarded."

At school I would get a very fast speed but who cares~ So frustrated that I cant get any better then 24/1. I cant put fast download to very good use If I cant seed back

Ready for some Brazilian Internet Awesomeness?!
Weird thing is, my downloads get to 1.5MB/s (megabytes), even if it's a torrent, and that's the right speed I should get (it's a 12Mbits connection).

If you have a ping less than 10ms, your ISP is probably hosting the test server and thus you aren't really testing your Internet connection at all. Pick another server and see what you get instead.
Comcast "power boost" screws the test up. It won't sustain more than 12/1Mbps.

I got lame results from work too and it's a 34 Mbps connection.
