Just wondering if there's any hack that really works on iccup ?
Because i've like 1/4 of my reps that are corrupted. Wtf ?
No way there are so much cheaters, or else i'd be really really sad

Yes it has, there was a thread about it. The genius who made it even made a link to the hack. This was copied by the smart gosugamers crew, who made a news about it, so that even more people could download it.
Not sure if the hack can corrupt replays though.

What kind of curruption? Perhaps it is the one corrected by the RepFix which is usually caused by talking while the game is paused.
The iccup hack itself does not much, it just tricks iccups antihack so it can't detect the hacks you have loaded.

Most corrupted maps are basically due to the filename being too long.
Try changing the name of one of them.

I mean not corrupted, but bugged reps.
Happens to me a lot in long games for example. Hopefully it's just some bad map making, but it sure pisses me off as i can't study my replays.. :/

replays of games in UMS mode tend to get corrupted, but I suppose that you dont host UMS maps... athough the newest maps have some basic texts when the game starts. These texts shouldnt matter.
Try to watch a repay without speeding it up, to see if it gets corrupted (I know it is pretty useless because you cant study at such low speeds but you will at least be certain that the replays get corrupted, maybe it has something to do with the map(s) - try melee/one on one mode)

Has there been any progress on once again hack-proofing iccup AH?

one other trick that you can try to get replays to stop bugging is watching them by "creating a game" with only the rep as the map. It seems to work more often than the "watch replay" screen.

If the replay was played in UMS mode (obs mode for example), you should watch it online because some triggers (mainly the center view action in this case) work differently in SP and MP.
Some replays of UMS maps crash early on if you set the game speed too high. Let the replay run on fastest speed until all the text crap is gone and it should be fine.

I have never heard of corruption because of bad mapmaking, though.
I guess we can exclude different versions of SC.
If you have a good reason to disagree with the above, please tell me. Thank you.

There will always always be hacks out there that can get around anything. But I doubt it's 1/4 of your games or anywhere near that

A friend to me had the same problem before.

i've been wondering lately if "you've lost connection to battle.net" during a game may be due to a hack also - it usually causes you to not be able to report your win, and so no rating changes. but it sometimes happens when i am losing too, so probably it's because of bugs in iccup's servers or something.

about the AH launcher ever being reliable - i don't believe it can happen. its probably extremely easy to create a replacement of it that just always reports "all clear" to the server without even scanning.

I played about 20 games the last few days on iccup at D+ to C rank level and had no encounters with hacks, at least none that I could detect. I think it's pretty safe.

What ?
You mean creating the replay on iccup and watch it online ? Already tried and still bugs.
And no it wasn't obs ums mode or whatever, i play mainly 1:1 on iccup.

Haven't tried to watch the rep at fastest speed only though.
I skip most of the beginning by x16 then i slow down for better analysis. I'll try it l8er.
