I used to go pure mutas, but i have problems stoping terran taking the natural, and 2 base terran pumps way too many goliath...what's an alternative strategy against mech?

Muta/ling

If you're just pumping mutas you should have plenty of minerals for like 30 lings

You could also tech to ultra/ling because goliaths are very weak vs ultras.

try delaying with mutaling as usual until you can get defilers, then rape with plague or swarm/whatever

Just outexpo him while going muta/ling or hydra/muta. If hes pure golie, then make more hydra. If hes mixing tanks, then mix mutas.

take the map. its hard for the terran to stop you from expoing cuz his mech army isn't very mobile, and if he is moving out with a sizable force you can threaten to counter his main with a ton of mutas.

gols are chobo cuz not mobile at all - zerg has to play more drones, bigger mass without sunkens and lurkers
I think ling 3/3 + adrenal + eventually ultras would pwnage those gols, but hidras 3/3 arent bad too

if he moves out counter his main. you should be able to take more expos than him. dont fight his army without sunk support.

mutaling for sure...golies dont do shit against mutas...so you got the mutas taking all the damage, while you have lings finishing the golies

Muta/ling and decent flanking > goliaths. You will have to change your harassment technique though, as goliaths have too great a range for picking off units to be effective. Moving in with 30+ muta's when he moves out to kill expoes is what you should do.

Muta/ling, expand as often as you can (be very greedy, you need MUCH gas), and be aggressive. Don't let the goliaths force you into defensive mode, just try to harass him. With a mass of mutas (like 24+) you can destroy half of his base very fast while his goliaths are somewhere else. If you have many expansions, you can let the goliaths kill one of them while you rape his main/factories (which hits him much harder).
And try to tech to defilers soon, and get plague (don't bother with swarm, unless you decided to get more lings/hydras/lurkers/ultras).

You also need to take a third gas at the very least. And you need to guerilla warfare it quite a bit. Burrow is also great against goliaths though if you have a large amount of lings AND mutas it isn't really necessary. But I think its cost effective so long as you place them in a place where he won't scan.

Be wary of vultures. If the T already has numerous factories up, chances are he'll throw little blobs of vultures at you to go expo harassing and/or drop spider mines freakin' everywhere.

As stated by just about everyone, go muta/ling. Don't really bother with lurkers because gols can really more or less just lol all over them.

If you fail to take advantage with your ling/muta and it's about even, taking islands is very powerful becouse you can move your entire army there very fast for defence, making your islands hard to attack.

Swarm/plauge is very awsome, but remember that a good mech user will add m&mf if he scans defilers or get tank heavy. They should also have at least 3 science vessels making mutas worse becouse of irraditate.

Zerglings are rather bad after a certain point, when he's to big basically, rely more on sunkens and expos to waste his time walking around the map and making him open for mutalisk harass/backdoor.

Be very drone heavy. Remember to upgrade your mutas, having 1-1 vs 0-0 is a huge diffrence, don't be the guy with 0-0.

I'd rather go pure hydra than ling/hydra as ling/hydra will allow the goliaths in the back to rape the lings while you can't yet touch them. Ling/hydra effectively allows every goliath to attack, and since lings vs gols only work if the gols are distracted (ie; not shooting at the lings), you will probably find your lings to not be very effective.
