WAH (Warcraft: Alliance and Horde) is a game mod on Starcraft II Arcade. It is a RTS game based on warcraft theme. For Starcraft II is totally free now, players can play this game on SC2 Arcade for free.

Summary:
1. New Faction: Burning Legion, with 6 heroes and 10 units.
2. New Map: Stormwind, a 4V4 melee map based on Stromwind City in WOW.
3. Sub Faction System: Players can choose Shattrath, Dalaran and Zandala during the game to get different benefit and special units.
4. Critical Attacki System etc.

Play for Free:
1. Download SC2 Client
2. Register a free BN account
3. Launch SC2 and loggin, in the Arcade Lobby, Search 'WAH'.
4. All melee maps of WAH can be found, now there are:
Ashenvale (1v1)
Crossroads (2v2)
Eversong Forest (2v2)
Stormwind (4v4)
5. GL & HF

Demon hunter creeps the murloc

Details:
It is not a clone a Warcraft III. Though players can collect gold, hire heroes, train units like in Warcraft III, I put many new features into this game: You can see heroes, units, abilities came from WOW; Maps such Ashenvale, Stromwind that WOWer are familiar with. Sub Faction System allow player to choose benefits and special units during the game. This idea came from many games I played, such as Dune 3000, Age of Methology, Civilization V etc.

3 Month ago I post a thread of WAH 1.0 here. At that time WAH just had 2 factions and much more bugs, but I was encouraged by enthusiasm of so many players, they replied me, make VODs and even test the game for me. I know that RTS is not so popular today, but I insist that there will always be someone love it. So I still put all myself on this game as before. During these 3 months I designed a new faction Burning Legion, which was should be in Warcraft III. In 2001, Burning Legion was removed from Warcraft III so there were only Human, Orc, Undead and Nightelf. So I feel it is very interesting to let them revive in the RTS game.

At first it was lack of resource to design Burning Legion, in WOW there will not so many assets available for Demons especially the Demon Building. So I used many doodads in Hellfire as demon building, such as the Teleporter, Dark Portal etc. For the heroes and units, I referenced Warcraft III and WOW official guide. I created Chaos Grunt, whose name came from Warcraft III, but model from fel-orc in WOW TBC. I design it as a rude, crazy, blood-lust melee unit, so it can be very easy to distinguish Chaos Grunt from Grunt of Horde.

Besides Burning Legion, in WAH 1.50 there are many units for Alliance and Horde. Silvermoon Ranger, my favorite unit, he can switch his weapon from blade to bow. I think it is very interesting. This idea come from 2001, when I see the film Lord of Rings, I was so impressed at the elf army both expert on blades and bows. There is also an interesting for the Alliance -- the druid: Druid have 3 transform ability, when at early stage of the game, druid can transform into cat with faster movespeed and high melee attack. When player build T2 tech-building, druid can be upgraded to unlock the second transform ability -- Bear Form, then the druid can be used as a strong tank that holding the front. When player build T3 tech-building, Moonkin Form ability is availible, they player have a speller unit with strong defence. So including Faerie Fire and Rejuvenation, with 3 different form, the druid will be full of tactics.

Above is a reply in WAH 1.0 thread I mentioned rightnow, I made my word to the player that there should be Burning Legion and now I kept my words. It is the player that give me inspiration to create, it is the player that give me strength to insist, here I should say thank you all, for your support and enthusiasm. Here I made my words again that I will keep on working on this project, to deliver a better Warcraft RTS game, and any of you can make a wish in reply. Once you have my word, it will be realized

It is not a professional game, and I am not a professional designer, but I will use my limited capability, to deliver a better game, bit by bit, day by day.
