This Wednesday (August 22nd) the Israeli IeSF 2012 Final LAN will take place during the "Games at Hod HaSharon 2012" LAN event, where the Israeli representative to the 2012 IeSF World Championship will be decided.
The IeSF 2012 World Championship is the fourth international e-Sports tournament held by the International e-Sports Federation. This event will be held at Cheon-an City, South Korea from October 4 to October 8.
Event
Other than the IeSF Israeli Final, the "Games at Hod HaSharon 2012" LAN will also feature tournaments in Counter Strike, Call of Duty, League of Legends and many other games, total prizes for all games worth over $10,000.
Format
The StarCraft 2 tournament will be a 16 player tournament styled similarly to GSL Code S, with two group stages using GSL match format and a Single Elimination bracket for the top 4 players.
Prizes
1st place: ASUS TF300 tablet and flight, accommodation, seed and the honor of representing Israel in the http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/IeSF_2012_World_Championship
2nd place: 200 Israeli Shekels & ASUS 6950 graphics card
3nd place: 100 Israeli Shekels & ASUS T8H77-M-LE motherboard
