fnaticandre Serbia27 Posts July 01 2012 16:51 GMT #1 The next edition of the PLAY RaidCall Cup will feature StarCraft 2, and it will be open for everyone who wants to compete. This is the second open StarCraft 2 tournament we are hosting in 2012, and all you have to do is register on our PLAY Fnatic website, and click the REGISTRATION LINK. So far, in 2012, we have hosted four StarCraft 2 tournaments, three of them being Invitationals. Same as the last time in our PLAY RaidCall Open Cup #1, up to 128 participants will be able to compete for their share of the $600 prize. The winner of the tournament will earn himself the half of it, $300, while the first and second runner-up will get $200 and $100 respectively. So far, in our tournaments, players such as Nerchio, Grubby, Stephano and more showed their presence. This time we hope that even more players will sign up, and we expect an interesting competition, all that covered up with shoutcasting by none other than Kevin "Katu" Albert via FnaticTV. In the quarter-finals, semi-finals as well as in the third place decider, matches will be Best-of-three, while the Grand Finals will be played in the Best-of-five format. The first round will be played on the 5th of July at 18:00 CET, and on that day all the rounds up until semi-finals will take place. It will continue on July 6th, at 18:00 CET when the first semi-final will be played.
