I think I was a bit drunk when I made that post
A bootcamp is basically where a bunch of players get together and just practice at a LAN center a few days before the event, maybe have some sort of mini tournament or something. I think maybe boot camping would be more appropriate for something like an MLG, as we would basically be practicing against people we only play against, where as in a larger scale event, we wouldn't be.

Ah I see. I'd be down for something like that, although only one lan center down here (flippers). It's $5 for all day which isn't a bad deal but sometimes can be so loud you can't hear yourself think.

Flippers? Is that related to the flippers that used to be in the Kendall area at the town and country mall, that closed way long ago (at least after 2001)?

Not sure. This flippers is in the plantation/hollywood area. It's basically a movie theatre with a lan center inside of it for some reason.
