WTF should i do if I go goli+tanks and he goes tank+wraith ?everytime i loose because he catches my dropships...should i put up a third expo??? what BU should i make ?

If he goes wraith, he wants to gain control over the map, for example over cliffs, because he can kill dropships with his wraiths, and kill anything with his wraiths that gets near his tanks. By doing that, he can destroy your eco, and overmacro you.

What you have to do is expo as much as you can and protecting them very well (put a few goliaths on your cliff for example). You then have a better eco than him and can kill him...

A quick scanner and well places scouts can be livesavers vs wraiths. When expanding, feel free to drop an SCV on an overlooking cliff and build a turret or two. This can buy you enough time to get your own dropship to your cliff in the event that he does drop on it. One very important thing is turret placement. Don't put three turrets around your command center and none around your base, or you might find yourself completely fucked by a quick 2 tank / 3 wraith rush drop. If you do decide to drop his quickly, scan ahead of yourself, so you don't run into his wraiths. Going wraiths can often leave a terran open to early turret/tank containment, so as was said, be very liberal with those turrets.

i think thats why ppl float a rax or scout scv before putting dropship in harm's way, maybe u could even cancel dropship if u get a lucky spot

Don't lose your dships. If he's catching your dships all the time then it means either you are going in a straightline to your destination or you are going on an obvious path. Just take the long route if you need to, it's better than risking your precious cargo.

In mirror matchups if you're having trouble beating him with alternate strats, always become faster and more efficient than your opponent with the strat he is using.

In this situation, Wraith + Valk[s] > Wraiths
Wraith + D-Matrix > Wraiths

easy, just choose a weak spot and drop your foce, if he is protecting his natural a lot go for the main, just get a big army and SCVs (scvs are important), drop and scan, he cant overpower u cuz wraith sucks for that so he will try to make you spend your scan but thats why you build some turrets, and keep droping him, just make a diversion, if you are going for main put a bait for the wraiths in other place, like a floting estructure in his expo, he will go and kill it and he wont be able to catchyour drop in his main.

watch some ArtOfHan replays.. his strat against a terran with wraith is bringing in a slow switch to wraith himself.. he usually builds more ports then the other guy and just out masses him. its a good style to play
