We will be streaming both red and blue streams, and due to popular demand, will most assuredly, cross my heart if I lie I'll play Terran, enjoy a ginormous, HD-projected third screen! Watch some pro-games, meet friendly nerds, have some beers and complain about Terran being OP with us! It's a fun day to meet new friends that you will later be able to kill online, a perfect way to socialise in sort! Plus, we'll have pub-quizzes, Barcrafter-submitted replays professionally cast as well as the world-famous 20-men-strong Shoutcraft! Oh, and we might get a couple of VIPs… We will cover most of pool play on Saturday from the start of stream until midnight, and follow most of the double-elimination tournament on sunday from start of stream until 22:30. The start time of the event will be 30 minutes before MLG starts the streams, we will update this page to let you know, but let's look at 15:00 as a safe bet. If you want to watch the finals, well, tough lu…. NO! THIS IS LONDONBARCRAFT!!! Not only did we triple the amount of screens, get a projector, spectator benches and an additional quiet-area to watch sc2 while the GFs enjoy a cocktail, but... We've secured the pub from 22:30 until 3:00 in order to watch the finals. There is a catch, we need 30 people to make a reservation for this, and be able to stay until the finals. The pub will liaise with a minicab company so everyone can get home safely, and might be able to help if you are looking for accommodation. To make reservations, please email mailto:lockmein@londonbarcraft.com - we will keep you updated on the status of the lock-in on Friday evening. Please, only make a reservation if you are 100% sure you will be able to attend, as this requires some organisation on the part of both the pub and Londonbarcraft. If we don't reach 30 peeps by Friday, we won't be able to hold this finals-viewing event, but will still have had 2 days of awesome LondonBarcrafting behind us, so only reserve if you mean it lads! I literally cannot believe that it's at the Assembly House! I live about 5 minutes from there and go quite often! Too strange - I always sort of assumed barcraft would just be in America or further afield, I never thought Starcraft would ever get so close to home! (Also partly because for me SC is quite a foreign thing, i.e. I watch it on the computer being played in locations far away with people I'll never meet etc). Did not think that there would be a bunch of people watching it in the pub down the road!
Sadly I can't make this as I'm away at university, but hope it goes well!

I wish I had thought about this sooner, I'm currently in uni at southampton, I might try and get up to London for Saturday, but I need to see how cheaply I can get tickets... Hmmm 16 quid to get up to London, extremely tempting, but a tad pricey for a broke arse student, I think I'l try and be there for providence.

Was pretty sick, about 100+ people at its max or so, idk. Couldn't talk to everyone but you were all pretty swell. Best moment was when I was at the bar and some non sc2 guys were also there, they asked the barmaid what was going on and she was like "it's called starcraft i think, its a video game" and these guys were like "so they're nerds right" and she was like "....yeah"
lmao
But naw it was great 10/10 would go again. Except for when the stream froze during hero vs huk when huk's pylon was at 4HP with 1 probe attacking it lol

Oh man, that point when Huk vs Hero game 1 froze was a killer!!!!
LondonBarcraft was epic, though. Sucks that I couldn't make it back down today, but that's what living 3 hours away means! Still, hope it is being just as epic for everyone today. Was great to meet the people that I did yesterday, will definitely be back for future barcraft events!!! Thank you to all those who organised it. Also, please upload photos, anyone who has them ^^

I'm in Portsmouth, assuming you are a fellow student from the moving date. I have a few friends who are interested in setting up a Barcraft here with me. Let me know if you are still interested.
Anyone else in the Portsmouth area, or anywhere nearby, south coast England, Southampton etc. please get in touch, want to get this going and gauge some interest.
