Well as expected your client just can't speak to anyone, even the official Blizzard peer (the only one listed) doesn't want to be cooperative. I guess you could try these links: http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/blizzard-downloader-troubleshooting#13 http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/firewall-configuration-for-blizzard-games#4 Or you could bypass the Blizzard downloader alltogether and grab the installer files via direct download or bittorent here: http://dl.pcgames.com.cn/download/55403.html#downloadAddress ![]() Looks legit

In China and used the CN server for some stuff on the Starter Edition and I always had no problems logging in. bleh not verified, I was using the random ID generator :| guess I do need to ask my cousin for his ID to get in ... =_='' ehhh

I'm ~90% sure places around me sell them, but they don't exactly have them sitting out for me to point at. Characters would be preferred, but pinyin is fine too. Better idea... Go to a China Unicom store and ask for something called a 充值卡, (chong zhi ka - literally “fill directly card"), and then go to this website to pay for your subby: http://sj.19pay.cn/pm/w163.do?method=intro (again, this is LEGIT, I did this myself)。 When you go to the China Unicom store, you will need to buy a chong zhi ka for at least 100 yuan, then you have Starcraft 2 CN for the rest of your life. Basically going to China Unicom / China mobile for one of these cards is basically like getting yourself a one-time-use debit card, except they'll give you your code and password on a receipt. Make sure that when you scroll down the page to punch in your code and number, you choose China unicom. In Chinese, you say 中国联通 (zhong guo lian tong)。 Then it will ask you for your battlenet.com.cn screenname and password. Again, this is legit, I've done this myself before. Alternatively, you could just go to seven eleven and ask for "Zhan Wang Dian Ka." 战网点卡。

I guess this should suffice: 星际争霸2卡 If you don't get understood, explain what you want with words like play 玩 or play games 打游戏, internet 网上, etc As long as it looks like SC2 and it costs 20 yuans you can't be wrong.

On February 28 2012 16:31 pvtmomo wrote: hey ,what is unicom i had googled, but i didnt nothing found . can anybody help me? thanks. It's china unicom, a phone company and apparently you can pay for sc2 cards through them too. It's always a bit funky in china. On February 28 2012 17:58 SuMDuMRtArD wrote: Ok, I have the account and I have the game installed, but my account like the guide said is still a starter account. I want the full multiplayer experience. I heard from a post on TL that China has brought out a new way to play the game without topping up the sub card every week. That you pay $14 or so not exactly sure, and you unlock the full game. I can't find it anywhere, can anyone help me by any chance? If this was a hoax then the guy who wrote it should be shot, and I would just ignore the CN account until it stops being a top up account. Thank you You may want to read the other thread entirely. It's nothing like a scam or anything, it's just a discount specific to the chinese server. If you want in, just get the chinese SC2 client and find a way to get 90 points (which cost 90 yuans) on your chinese battle.net account.
