Recently, it's just Stork who's been a semi-player / coach - he made Code S but I can't remember if he played in PL at all (maybe one appearance early on in R1/2?)

Well, Choya plays sometimes but only in the small tournaments.

Oh man, what's going on CJ?

Post season shuffle, stuff happens.
Glad to see OriOn as Head Coach, he was always there for his players in the booth last season, definitely a nice replacement for Coach Park. Losing Sora and Trust doesn't hurt CJ too badly though, even if Trust did seem on an upswing. Wonder where they will both go.

Yeah, I assume he just does it to amuse himself and to keep current, not for competition though. Amusingly there was an Olimoleague when he destroyed Seed 2-0 though, which can hardly be the biggest confidence boost to one of his own players

I m happy that Skyhigh stays and becomes a coach but i an very sad Sora left, I really like the kid. I hope it doesnt retire. Hopefullt he can get some spl play time in an 8th team.

looks good

Also best of luck to OriOn as new headcoach, replacing Coach Park isn't easy and it's big shoes to fill either way. I wonder if skyhigh will be a player coach like Stork or a full time coach? I guess we'll see in due time.

Guys, look on the bright side, at least skyhigh stayed with esports, with sc2, right:D

Sounds like another cutback (like Jinair's one).
I really hope Korean StarCraft manages to assemble that reasonably competitive 8th Proleague team..

Not gunna lie, theres something magical about skyhigh. Watching him do that insane run to the ro4 was incredible and then him disapearing completely afterwards.
And then i read up on him and found out he did it multiple times. He must be like the BW Byun, and thats an awesome story. Shame he didn't stick around

Good changes, i never liked Coach Park, this is a nice change for CJ. I doubt they will get any more bodies in 2 of each race is nice, maybe a couple of rookies though? But still i feel that line up of 6 is pretty strong. Skyhigh teaching his terran brothers mech plays ftw!

I think Sora and Trust have just enough potential that they might get picked up by other teams for Proleague if they don't want to join a foreign team.
|
Didn't the Kespa or Teams complain about less potential Sc2 Progamers (i mean Rookies like Sora used to be) and then they probably kicked out him and Trust, that doesn't makes sense to me :D

Can't really say they were kicked out. Contracts expired and they were not renewed for w/e reason, who knows.

does this mean skyhigh isnt going to play anymore? Wasn't he just in Code S? or is he going to be a player coach. if he stops competing that's too bad

This is quite big news. I wasn't expecting sKyHigh at all to transition to coach. He was doing really well as a pro gamer. I'm assuming them releasing Sora and Trust could mean that they have some big signings coming up in the future?

The only real surprise here is Skyhigh. Shuffling some players that rarely get playtime happens to every team each season.
