As well as GSL, SC2SL is also sponsored by Sbenu. Hyo Jin Hwang, the president of Sbenu, also known as Sonic, said "SC2SL, which is being produced in multiple languages and broadcast to the whole world, had some common qualities with Sbenu that is also becoming an global brand.
