Between this and GSL & SSL (what is this??) going on at the same time I don't understand shit at the new WCS system.

GSL has its own system of skipping challenger league .

And with the new maps going on live in the middle of the season it's like they don't even give a shit to have any coherence in this.

GSL and SSL are independent. EU, NA, SEA and China are together now (called as WCS Unified) . You can play WCS EU, GSL and SSL if you can.

top4 of each EU qualifier qualify for EU Challenger. top4 x 7 qualifiers = 28 players.
then only one Bo5 away to qualify for permier league. Top14 qualifies for WCS Unified (premier league).

Premier League has 32 players, 14 are from EU, 8 from NA, etc.
For Season 2 ALL have to qualify again, ALL begin from zero . There are no seeds.
