Honestly I'm kinda feeling soO on this one. He lost 3 finals...but each time it was also a question of running into an opponent who was on fire rather than him choking. I can't think of one game where he made a truly awful throw. I mean, how many finals do you get to before you have to just statistically win one. Whoever wins tonight, esports wins. We've been waiting a loooooong time for one of these guys to win a GSL. Tonight, whatever happens, we know one of them must finally be a champion. With the spirit of Coach Catz in his ear and having successfully dodged the dreaded zvp final for the first time, I think soO might never be more than the 2nd greatest kong of all time. 4-3 soO | ||

As much as I already think of soO as the best player in the world (4 gsl finals come on) I want him to win bigtime. if nothing else only to hush the media! | ||

Inoo won 4-2 and got revenge on Soo from earlier GSL-elimination and Soo is now confirmed as holding the title of the second best ever :-) Glad for Inno to get into top16 but no foreigners/snute is in the top16 :-( along with several other key players... Wish they would change the format, the minimum they should do is expand the player pool to top20 ! take the 20 ones at place 17-36, have 4groups w 5players where 2 advances/grp bo3s then one elimination round bo5/7s where the 4 winners goes into the final stage of top 20 ! it would be a good step forward for sc2 overall, or change it completely/more... maybe have spots reserved for the best eu and na player (none-koreans etc), addressing concern with ending up with only koreans in the biggest finals in the sport... Hoping sc2 will stay alive, best esport viewing game on the market (and much more ofc) :-D | ||

From a storyline point of view it would be even better, if Mvp returns in 2015 and those two somehow meet in the GSL final. It would be the ultimate showdown: The man, that produced the first sc2-kong (by beating him twice in finals) vs the biggest kong, there is The Greatest of all time vs the man, that knocked him out of the GSL The chance to break the curse vs the chance to get the G5L-trophy Will probably never happen, but if it would, the hype would be incredible. | ||
