Haven't heard much of Elfi for quite some time now, but this explanation seems a bit over-the-top considering it's coming from an insignificant team like Vega. But in the end good luck to both parties, I guess.

He only came back recently.

Seems weird to complain about a lack of results after supporting the player whilst they took a break from the game...

First of all, this departure was on mutual agreement. Of course we talked with him about this, and he was aware that something like this could happened simply because when we signed him we did talk to him and made him clear what we expect from him in future events and tournaments, esspeccialy WCS.

We are not big team, obviously we can't afford so expensive players like elfi to underperform and not achieve at least some goals that we set up together. Maybe bigger teams can, we can't. Yes, elfi was probably our best player (togehter with LZ), but you must be aware that we have different expectations from different players, aswell they have different contracts with salary and with different benefits, which are competent with their skill level, results and other stuff.

Otherwise elfi is great guy, hard working, and very friendly, and after all he understands our situation and our need to make this move that we made well, so i don't see such need for inappropriate comments or hatred towards us.

It is just business and financial decision from our side, from which point we must move on.

The way it's put is incredibly unprofessional and offputting, makes you want to support the team less. Not a big fan of Elfi but come on. :p dont invest in a 'popular' player if you cant keep him when he doesnt win a major event
