Exactly, groups has a higher chance of making sure the better players progress. instead of getting screwed because they have only 1 chance and they get matched against MMA or jjakji.
For Korea, I didn't mind the old code A which is bracket plus groups (up/down) since the calibre of players are still pretty good anyways. But I have to say that I actually liked the old old code A best when it was considered a tournament in itself.

He must be having wrist issues still because he just doesn't look like he can do the same things as he use to.

Most of my predictions are straight forward but let me explain a few you guys prob find interesting. Bunny>Sascri is because of the fact that bunny has beaten armani and sleep to qualify for g3 and had a great series vs jaedong which makes me quite confident that he will beat sascri. My other strange pick is obviously StarNaN>MMA which would be crazy by me if starnan hadn't beat mma at dreamhack summer recently but i could still see mma just stomping xD!!!

TBH he's probably that one player that I'd not mind retiring.. He's on the "ropes" with his hand-movement for like ages now, and probably the only guy who'd not make me disturbed if leaving (ofc. it would still be sad, but not disturbing news to say so.. He might've deserved a GSL pension too though, lol)
