KaL (GooJila) has decided to retire “I want to rest for the time being.”

KaL, who after finishing his military service continued his progaming career by joining Prime, has regrettably pronounced his retirement.
With the disbanding of Airforce ACE and STX Soul, KaL had no team to go back to. Even while doing his service, KaL had not lost his passion for progaming. As soon as he was discharged, he joined Prime right away and fulfilled that passion.
However, the long period in which he was away from progaming (even with his time in Airforce ACE) held him back. Despite his best efforts, his game sense didn’t seem like it was returning and he eventually made the decision to retire.
When KaL joined Prime he had said, “If I feel like I am unable to grow into a 1 win card for my team I will retire.” He practiced rigorously in Round 1 but he felt like he had reached his limit and told Coach Park about his intentions to retire.
KaL plans to take a break after retirement. He had been unable to rest after he was discharged [having joined Prime right away]. He plans to go to on a vacation and do things he had been unable to do previously and clear his mind a bit.
Prime’s Coach Park states “His passion for progaming was strong but it seems his time away was too hard to overcome,” and “I’m thankful for the effort KaL put in for Prime.”

Stx soul needed him sooner. By.hero will appreciate a better practice partner for the next time he plays Bisu.

That's too bad. I had a feeling something like this was happening when he just kind of disappeared from Proleague. Best of luck to him

Well that was quick... He wasn't doing bad on Prime imo.

He was the closest thing Prime had to an ace in Round One, sucks that he wasn't satisfied with that

He was definitely one of the most popular players on Prime though and I think he helped draw in a lot of fans for them at the proleague studio. I wonder how many they will lose now. That'll be unfortunate.

it sounds more like a temporary retirement, he'll probably be back by LotV

There was an inven article about KaL retiring and it quotes Prime's coach saying KaL began to lose interest as he started racking up the losses.

We are excited by the prospect that some of our favorite players might be returning to play BW, considering thats been the trend so far.
I don't understand what prompted you to make that comment.

If he still has the passion, he could always come back. Maybe he'll go back to BW.
