He basically just shouted into the mic in a poor imitation that seemed like he was ripping off Mexican soccer commentators because "that's what he sounds like." Kind of objectively offensive. It was met with... mixed reviews... in chat. He then said that someone messaged him on sc2 "If you ever cast like that again, I'll kill you." For whatever reason, he decided that I was the one that did it and blamed me for it on stream. I said I didn't appreciate the slander. Then he permabanned me.
So between the slander, the racist casting, and the generally less than mediocre casting he normally gives, I'm pretty bummed he'll be covering WCS at all. I hope there are additional casters for this.
Also, does anyone know if this revolver is the same guy who was a top undead in warcraft3? I've been unsure of that for a while.

First off, there was no offense intended, and none was taken on Vasa's side. He is a good friend of mine, and found it entertaining himself, albeit somewhat silly. As you pointed out, there were mixed reactions in chat, and we took that into account when we decided not to cast another game like that.
As for why I assumed you wrote me on battle.net, you were pretty much saying the exact same thing in chat, which is why you were permabanned, though I don't remember banning you personally, may well have been one of the mods. Either way it was well earned.
EDIT: No additional casters, it's all Madals and myself, sorry VasHeR

Don't misquote us on this either, we said, "It'd be fun to cast this like Vasacast - For those who don't know who he is, he is an Italian streamer" [blah blah quick CV about him following + a shout out and link to his stream]. If you're too ignorant to differentiate racism from descriptive adjectives, I think you need to re-evaluate how you look at the world, before you go judging others for it.

I don't really see how you think I'm in the wrong here. You flamed me, I banned you. If you told me you were not the person writing me on battle.net, I would have said on stream that you had said so. I'd check the VOD but honestly I'm not going to waste my time. Feel free to check it if you want. I banned you for flaming me, not for trying to profess innocence. That would be fucking dumb.
And about the whole offensive thing, I never once said I was imitating a group of people or anything. You have to be pretty dumb to think that me imitating one specific person (which, as both rif and I said in the cast, was intended as a silly homage to the guy) who does not represent any group of people can be construed as offensive to anybody but that one person. It's not even like Vasa's casting represents an Italian stereotype or anything. You're just looking for ammunition to throw at me because you're salty that I banned you.
Ironically, you're complaining about my alleged "slander" against you while misquoting me in your first post and maintaining that I banned you for something different than what I banned you for, which, ironically, is you throwing slander in my direction.

If you're offended by somone immitating other casters / players in a bad way, for your sake don't watch homestory cup... Like never or 2GD or Incontrol for that matter.
