It doesn't make sense for him to join a Korean team, he'd want to travel to foreign tournaments.
Col.MVP sounds like a decent bet, but I'm thinking maybe SK.

This is exciting news. Can't wait for the second half of this announcement. I'm hoping for oGs or TL, though it seems unlikely.

Or Inside the game.
IF EG is involved, they will be doing some kind of statement on that show

EGNaniwa
There's hasnt been much EG drama lately.

SPOTLIGHT THIS HAHAHAHA
BEST TL POST IN AGES

wow...did not see this one coming in any stretch of the imagination, but given his desire to pursue sc2 in Korea it's really only fitting for him to be on a Korean team, so wouldn't be so shocking from that point of view. But if he joins another foreigner team...wow

If he joins EG im gonna piss my pants

I honestly have never watched that show... Is it better than SotG?

Bad mistake for dignitas to not offer a consecutive one, imo. Oh wells, Naniwa will find something better!

Nope

NO!! I'm so sad. Dignitas because of him, sjow, and select, was by far my favorite foreign team besides TL ever! I'll still support them with all my heart, but this sucks O.o
|
Omg, really??? WOW, this is a huge development!!!
I wonder if Dignitas no longer wanted him? or Naniwa wanted to be a free agent? Anyways, teams would be fucking stupid not to pick up this fucking beast of a player.
EGNaniwa??? :O
|
EGNaniwa
who was it that said there was gonna be some big news about a big EU player or something?
|
I don't think joining a Korean team is going to reduce his ability to travel abroad to tournaments. I would suspect most of the Korean teams are looking to expand abroad, and picking up a star foreigner is a great way to start.
|
Would be a great pick up for a Korean team looking to expand into the international market
|
WhiteRA.Naniwa
nah, probly slayers

No matter who's decision this was, this was by far the worst decision on Dignitas' side. Losing Naniwa is losing your team's backbone; Naniwa along with SeleCT made Dignitas THE premier foreign progaming team. No other team had such raw talent in just two players.
Terrible, terrible loss. I am so sad to hear this. On the bright side, Naniwa is now free to join any Korean progaming team he wants. He has more raw skill in my opinion than 80% of the Korean progaming Protosses in GSL.
Best of luck Naniwa. You are truly amazing.

Regardless, Naniwa probably doesn't give a damn when it comes to salary. A team that can send him overseas and provides him good practise is all he would care about.
"We agreed" implies nothing. It's simply a phrase used for PR. However we'll never know since it's not smart of either part to trash talk the other.
I guess coL.MVP is the perfect fit, and probably the only team who can afford him.

I was always told korean teams had no money. I don't see Naniwa going somewhere for a shitty salary. Unless CoL.MvP now has some capital, I'd say EG, ReiGn, mouz. or TeamLiquid.
