artosis' smugness is deplorable and idra's tilting is regrettable, but you can't assess logical arguments from them on the basis of their personalities. they are 100% correct about t

HuK Forge expanded in several of his games >< I dont see how thats all in. At least in that tournament Tester was way more of an all in player. (I didnt see the finals/Semi's, but in group play the only game tester went late was against TLO and then he seemed outmatched) I mean I can think of the pylon block rush against Idra, not to mention the cannon rushes, the 4 warpgate proxy pylon against Huk twice, the Void raid rushes against TLO.

Really forge expand or like 16 nexus I really can't see as a decent build because with queens Z can always produce faster than you so you need zealots as a way of diverting his resources. It's like you're playing jaedong PvZ but he gets 2 free hatches after his first 3. Chrono boost kinda makes up for it but not nearly enough as far as I can see.

No. Confidence + incivility = bad manner (or, really, just incivility = bad manner). Manners are not merely what you say, but how you say it. Nony is a good contrast: confident and honest and not bm.

This interview is much more civil than many of idra's earlier interviews, though. It's a welcome change imo.

I love how idra was commenting on white-ra's play when he knew that white-ra didn't play much in phase 2. If white-ra actually practiced he would do the same thing he did to idra in the HDH because his PvZ is so strong. I feel as though tester's PvP/PvT is superior, but I have barely ever seen whitera lose a PvZ =/

I don't really see a difference between the attitudes of either of the players, and I am a fan of both. Haters gonna hate though I guess...

Could you please change the title of the thread? I mean you said the "winner" but seeing the author I personally knew you were talking about idra and thus got spoilered But thanks for the interview nonetheless!

P.S: I have no idea what to change the title to however... Well probably just my fault for not watching the live event.

I'm glad you make almost no money playing an rts game, this world wouldn't make sense if so

I really like the level of insight shown in this interview. It's clear to see that these guys play on another level. It's not just about straight up strategy, but a lot of mind games really come into it even at such a (relatively) early stage of the game. It's a level to aspire to, even as a silver-bad.

It was also pretty clear to me anyway that idra despite his raging and bm in some games really likes being challenged. You can tell by the way he spoke about his games with Huk and the game he won against Tester on Steppes. The way he spoke he simply wasn't enjoying those particular games.

Compare it to the way he spoke about his games with TLO or QxC he was really excited about them.

This guy has some respect from me, even if he comes off a bit self-righteous. It's pretty clear to me that he's playing sc2 for the right reasons (to be challenged by the best, and overcome those challenges) and that's what I like to see.

Compared to some people who will cheese Every, Single, Game... And become good at nothing except cheese... And then have a cry when people don't respect them for their cheese.

Sure you can win with cheese, but are you really playing to play good games then?

thanks alot for this interview and huge congratz to you idra. impressive play during the tournament and really entertaining.

but now the most important question:
when can we expect artosis asia replay pack number 3 and is there a chance for an idra replay pack anytime soon?

Can anyone post links with these interviews? That would be very entertaining.

Also, congrats to idra on winning. Really exciting tourney to watch.
