It's a ZvZ final between two not very well known players that somehow ended up in the finals though. The Brood War fanbase dubs the incoming final the "Zerg v.s. some other Zerg MSL final". However, there is a considerable probability of hive tech v.s. hive tech play due to one of the players promising to drag the game to hive. Hive tech ZvZ is extremely rare to the point of being considered as extraordinary supernatural event. Should it happen, that game would be worth casting by Day9.

While we guys would find it amazing, 95% of the people who watch his Daily would be annoyed by SC1. Not necessarily. The level of gameplay in SC1 is significantly higher than SC2, and can be quite more entertaining as 20+ minute games are pretty standard. Analysis of SC1 mechanics and units would be quite fascinating to the SC2 players. There is a reason why the sole A-teamer who retired from BW, aka MVP, is doing extremely well in SC2. MVP was a mid-low tier BW A-class. A single S-class BW player can erase the entire GSL if given 2 months to adapt to the new mechanics and strategies.

Aside: Those were nice infinity explanations. I don't know why he drew Alef like that though. I'm surprised he didn't go into countability though, because I think that's a nice way to think of it. Rather than say "this is infinite, this is not," you break up a little further to say "this is finite, this is countable and infinite, and this is uncountable." And that actually does go nicely with your intuition. Because you can "count" the natural numbers.

Also, how will chat work out? Going back to the Ustream page the episode description states "If you have an IRC client, hop over to irc.quakenet.org in #day9tv". However I would like to know if this is an alternative chat or if there will be a chat to sign into at Justin TV. I searched a few pages back and even looked at the OP and can't find any other info on about the transition to Justin TV. NOTE: I was not aware that team liquid supported it's own IRC chat channel on this site. I figure it would be helpful to post the link for those that don't know: http://www.teamliquid.net/irc/ I assumed before finding this I would need to find a web client. EDIT: Forgot to reference the number and info of the last daily in first sentence.

Day9 asked the people in the chat just now to help find replays of games played on the new gsl maps and I searched for five minutes and found a replay on one of the new maps and between IMMvP and STBoogieBoy and for my effort I get instakicked. Way to go promoting interactivity. No point in promoting GSL replays because, hell, day9 can't freaking anylize them.
