The guy isnt "toxic" and his teammates dont have a bad word to say about him. The Celtics are a poor defensive rebounding team. They cant just sit on assets forever and wait for Lebron to get old. | ||

Sone Celts fans were irate Ainge didnt do the deal for Ibaka because he didnt want to throw in Rozier rofl. NBA trade deadline is always full of craziness. | ||

The Ross contract is bad. Ibaka was there for the taking. I'm kinds surprised the Raptors managed to unload him. I guess the Magic really wanted that 1st rounder. Ross was good for a couple of months in the Lowry+Bench lineup. Once teams learned how to deal with the early in the shot clock high screen there was not enough skill and talent in that 5 man team to adjust and that unit just stopped producing. Funny it started happening right after another poster rattled off all these "great stats" about Ross. Right after that Lowry+Bench stalled and never recovered as teams started executing a good scheme against it. They basically ignored Nogueira until he got within 3 feet of the hoop. Ross and every one floundered except Lowry. | ||

When one of these "experts" outlines detail-for-detail the disintegration of the Lowry+Bench lineup and why and how it happened i'll listen to what they have to say. Maybe we have different ideas of what toxic is? He's the worst kind of leader a team could have. He blames officials constantly. Abuses coaches. Gets techs. If I had a teammate who routinely throws tantrums resulting in losses/suspensions I'd be frustrated too. I don't see any players coming out in support of Boogie and he has the sort of temperament where I wouldn't want to criticize him publicly then have to play with him either. Obviously neither of us are in that locker room, but I highly doubt he's been a positive influence over the years. | ||

Come to think of it, teammates will rarely call each other out at all, and only for play/effort (areas where Boogie doesn't have issues). Personal attacks/character criticism between players is VERY rare, and not because everyone loves playing with each other, but because they tend to keep that shit private/unspoken. | ||

Which again leads me to ask - who is calling him toxic or a bad teammate . I think we're trying to fill in the story ourselves instead of just taking what it is at face value. | ||
