if this level of performance of the Cavs bench continues more trades for bench players will start to look like shuffling the deck chairs on the titanic.
anyhow, if LBJ is whining to management about his bench i can see why.

I think you're severely underestimating Draymond's defence, versatility, and playmaking. Not only all that but his intangible ability to fire up a team and lead with hustle and aggression. These things don't change much from team to team, his stats might actually go up without Durant, with marginal hits to fg%. He's arguably the best defender in the league outside of kawhi and can cover most positions. He was the second best player on the best regular season team of all time... and you don't think he'd be a game-changer on other teams? Love can't even cover one position, he isn't a leader and he's basically limited to grabbing boards, outlet passes and scoring. Love could be a top 20 fantasy star on a lottery team like he did in Minnie but his D would keep him off any serious list. There's just no way you can be a top 20 guy, if playing with Lebron makes you look mediocre and you can be virtually replaced by Channing Frye.

Lebron is management. This is the team he built. Every player on the team was specifically requested and approved by him. Was he muttering in front of a mirror and a hot mic picked him up? This is just his subtweeting all over again, which people forgot about because they won a magical finals.

How much exposure did LBJ have with Liggins when the Cavs acquired him? did LBJ fly to upper boldovia and check out some of his games? i doubt it. LBJ ain't Mario Lemieux.

I think he's a newfangled undersized, mobile big that's a perfect fit for the Warriors. They have good wing defenders. They have a high efficiency offense. These mask the problem that Draymond is not very big. I think if you put him on a thoroughly mediocre team, like the Lakers, and told him, "ok, be our man in the middle. Defend the paint with our leaky wing defense and grab all the rebounds" he would look a lot less great. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a very good player. I can't claim to be a Kevin Love expert, but Zach Lowe did pick him for ASG Reserves. He's a good shooter, has good offensive moves and is a good rebounder. I do think mostly that this is a bad team for him. You're right. He is Channing Frye on this team and I don't think it's his fault for the most part. If Nowitzki can be a top player for so long, I think we can count Love in the top 20. I guess our disagreement that the Golden State Big 4 (jeez, when was the last time someone mentioned Iguodala?) is so far above the Cleveland Big 3, at least from a pure talent perspective. Love isn't getting his full value, but that's their fault.

Love isn't getting his full value, but that's their fault. Draymond is perfect for the Warriors because they have long wings that can compensate for his lack of height. Bigs that are trying to take advantage of him will have to contend with a lot of players swiping at the ball. They lead the league in steals and blocks and probably lead in deflections as well. His size is also an advantage on switches because he is faster than most bigs. He is able to keep up with wings and block their shots. It has happened multiple times already this season where the other team would force a switch in crunch time, have a wing drive to the basket and get their shot blocked. And yes, on a team with short wings, Draymond would be in big trouble. Cleveland big 3 matches up with anyone because their big 1 (Lebron) is far above everyone else. He can't do it in the regular season because games happen too often. In the playoffs, there is enough rest between games for playoffs Lebron to make an appearance.

GSW went thru a meat grinder of a 7 game series while the Cavs were in coast mode in the 4th quarters of games 5 and 6 that sent them to the finals.
