Its like this weird feeling where you are supposed to take "orders" from someone who is your same age, and not really better than you in any way. Even like Doc Rivers when he first started coaching had a few years away and it seemed weird, and he objectively sucked as a coach for those first few years. Yeah I get the feeling he'd be better suited coaching a young team. Veteran players need a veteran coach who's got authority and something to offer.

It's like a miracle of bad defense and cold shooting that should happen like once a month, not twice in less than a week, FUCK! it's ok, the Hawks are still the third best team in the East right now lol

Exactly. Like what is Kidd got to say to Garnett and Pierce? You guys won championships in your prime? Ha! I won one when I was old as fuck!

Like in football, Peyton Manning is brilliant but he wouldn't move directly to HC. He'd go to QB coach and maaaaybe OC if the offense were familiar.

Best part of this interview. "But you're ESPN so you're probably wrong."

This SportVU thing is paying dividends. It works! You have to navigate to a player's game log on nba.com, then click around. Has a video for every play associated with stats in a typical box score (except fouls). (Here's Rudy Gay's game log: http://stats.nba.com/playerGameLogs.html?PlayerID=200752&pageNo=1&rowsPerPage=25 ) You can now watch every single FGA of Rudy Gay! There is a delay though, so today's fantastic 3-12 performance isn't up yet.

On other news, the Spurs are looking absolutely beastly lately, absolutely crushing midlevel and lowlevel competition. Grizzlies, Cavs, Nola all got massacred. Have to mention Tiago Splitter in particular. He's been the best rim defender in the league currently at 28% opp. Fg%. Furthermore he's been solid on the offensive end shooting 61% right now. Before the season started, a lot of people, including spurs fans claimed he was overpaid, but it looks like an absolute bargain now. The next few games for the spurs should be fun with a higher level of opposition coming up.
