I still can't believe Arsenal didn't sign Etienne Capoue. Didn't Spurs get him for like 9 or 11 million? That's a steal.
Would Arsenal actually pay anything over half the actual worth of a player?

Like people say it seems Wenger is too old fashioned and goes in to transfer business with the mentality of "I value the player at £x amount, i will not go anywhere higher than that" and when a club laughs at his bid he just goes elsewhere. He is pretty much like old man stuck in pre World War habits and preaching about "in my day...." He clearly is a good manager still though as picking up the players after that embarrassing defeat on the opening day at home to then go to Turkey in pretty much win the tie straight away shows real class and good man management skills. He just needs someone to do the business for him. Give a list of targets to the owner and let the owner bid for them >.<

The transfer of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid is Imminent according to Sky Sources!
Willian has passed his Tottenham medical and talks are ongoing with his 5 year deal contract
|
Meanwhile Spurs build themselves a rather good squad. They will probably have to sell Bale to make up for all this spending, but if they actually manage to keep bale against all odds they could very well finish above Arsenal IMO

I think Bale is gone, he won't stay. Yay for op Real Madrid @ FIFA14.
Also: Turkey's coach retired and Fatih Terim could have take over for the remainig 4 qualification games (dunno if that was posted already). Terim isn't allowed by Gala to leave for "full" national coach after the season, but would have been allowed to coach the remaining 4 quali games. That wasn't enough for the Turkish Football organisation and so he wont coach the national team.
Edited bullshit out after reading the article again.

Any concrete values set out for Bale or is it all just talk? Read 94m GBP + Coentrao somewhere, pretty sure there is some other figure + Morata floating around as well.

Idk, the most reliable I've seen is 99 mil € and no player, which I think is the real thing. Tottenham just wanted world record fee for him and with this they get it, even if it's by just 3 mil

So Tottenham is about to make the best deal in football up to date. Good for them. I wonder who's gonna warm the bench in Real so that Bale can play.

Tottenham in fairness have spent the money they made on him really well i have to admit, but they still will be half the side they were last season this year. However the year after when Willian Soldado Paulinho Chadli have all bedded into English football i could see them giving the top 4 race a good challenge. That's if they keep them all, the following summer In terms of football, Spurs currently 5-0 up against some random team from Georgia xD Hearing from Sky that Chelsea might step in and steal Willian. Want to sell us Mata?

Wow wtf xD Hijacking like a baws, i dont see why we would sign him though he isn't a striker and we have 101001 ppl in his position xD Yeah I suspect this may be a tactic to get more money. Abramovich and Kerimov (Anzhi owner) are apparently buddies. Pulling a move like that on Levy wouldn't be smart, though.

Not like Chelsea and fker Levy got anything to lose. He was a twat in the Modric saga and then you lost like £10million when you sold him to Madrid, we offered like £35million player hands in transfer request and still don't sell him lol. Then sell him for like £25million following season
