How does your family keep visiting? Nah bro we moved back last week. Now we're 5 minutes in either direction from both our parents and 15 min from my brother in law/sister in law/niece It's really nice and also really aggravating
Im a good 25 minute drive / 1 hour bus or walk (shortcuts OP) from my sister and that's close enough for me lol, i still babysit at a moments notice, although my nephews are awesome, i just show them minecraft builds all day.
My mother however, is downstairs cooking me bacon and eggs atm T.T When you move back home from another country - plans go out the fucking window.

How do surprise visits even work like do they just show up expecting you to be home when you're in the shopping mall? or do they call you like 15 minutes in advance pretty much forcing themselves upon you?

Fucking LOL bro, when i lived in sri lanka, people would literally drive up to my driveway and honk their horn for me to open the gate so they could come in and park.
Then they would sit there for an hour and a half while we were in the middle of cooking dinner / about to go out and fuck up all our plans (ruin our food more then once) and let us offer them drinks / snack food since it was customary there
then they would just be like "Lol cya" and leave.
And the best part? THEY NEVER SPOKE FUCKING ENGLISH ANYWAY I JUST WENT AND AFK'D AT MY PC UNTIL I HAD TO MAKE DRINKS. (my wife entertained them)
Visitors in the UK / US are pretty fuckin' chill.

That docu was so awesome. I still have to get my wife to watch it, she loved the TL one and that wasn't 1/4 as good.

No my wife invites them without telling me I mean, it's often for good reason (lately because they've been helping us out with watching the guy while we unpack or helping hang pictures or stuff like that) so it's just me being selfish and pissy at having to 'entertain' at the very end of the day when I'm tired and want some 'me' time.

I found american me.
Do they often arrive and before they're let in you ask "why are they here :O" and your wife just gives you this guilty smile.

The joys of a married life haha
All joking aside, I'm sure there are many, many benefits of being married. (though I've seen the cons as well) That being said, stories like these make me appreciate me being single.
And it's not that I don't want to get married later on in life, it's more that I'm in no rush. I know that once I get into a committed relationship, I'm going to lose out on some of the benefits of being single, perhaps forever depending how my life turns out.
I guess all I'm really saying is that there are pros and cons to both the married life and the single life, so might as well enjoy the life that I have while I still can.

The only con i see in married life is a reduction of my free time. My wife doesnt give a fuck but i make a point of spending 1-2 hours together every day, not just in the same room, actually together. Then you have the expectation of attending her important events because, your her husband you have to be there, that bit sucks the most, this could be anything from shopping on a saturday morning to random person X's wedding.
Other then that its all sex and fun with the greatest person in your life.
But, as im sure wave has realised and i know all to well since i work with them, once you have a child, your free time goes bye bye and everything changes due to the stress and demand put on you both.

On the night of the last friday of the month, TL-LoLers are offered and open invite to play video games and do generally stupid stuff. Which usually involves drinking in one form or another. Drunk moonbear is so fun :D Hm... what does a Moonbear get drunk on? Brandy? Does he sing Madoka's opening once he's jolly enough?

Oh man gin is disgusting, i really cant stomach that stuff.

Gin is niice. Sip it cold with water on the side. @asmo: bubbly wine is better though. Gives the best drunks. I also resent the "one is above them all" mentality, it's like only playing jungle Yi, even when you have trynd top and Yasuo mid.
