Also I don't have a PS3 or anything past GBA. Also I've got at least 2 friends into it to play with prob. Also EVO hype. I wasn't interested in picking up a fighter in any serious way.
That draft could have given me 6 eviscerates... I stopped at 5 because I still wanted minions and card to combo them off of. ._. And 4 deadly poison (only took 2). And 5 Anub'Ar Ambushers (only took 3).
... I guess at least I'd have had a consistent draft, uh.
Deadly Poison x2 Eviscerate x5 Dire Wolf Alpha Defias Ringleader Pint-sized Summoner Acolyte of Pain Mind Control Tech Demolisher (over Abomination, didn't want to suicide my stuff and historically Demolishers have served me well) Dancing Swords Shade of Naxxramas Raging Worgen Anub'Ar Ambusher x3 Cult Master Dark Iron Dwarf Childwind Yeti Assassin's Blade Venture Co. Merc Stranglethorn Tiger Archmage Frost Elemental Sprint Stormwind Champion War Golem (I know... )
I passed up on 3 Earthen Ring Farseer that I may have taken in retrospect because I feel like I'll have to hit stuff and being able to heal myself would be good with that draft. Also 2 Boulderfist Ogre, at the time I thought my 5+ drops were a bit numerous but one of them wouldn't have hurt in the end.
Not sure if Shade of Naxxramas was worth picking over a Sea Giant, but since I lacked minions myself, I went for some less costly stuff to spam these Eviscerates. 9 minions with 3 or less mana, 15 if we go up to 4 (with the "issue" of the Ambushers who'll send stuff back to my hand), I guess it's a sign that I should facerush every game.
I don't know what any of the mechanics in KoF13 are, wtf is a desperation move and EX Cancel and what?
Uh... basically you have 2 gauges, drive gauge and super gauge. Both filled by hitting and getting hit. Drive gauge has 2 levels, you can use one to cancel a special move into another special or a super (if you input at the correct timing it'll automatically do the cancel and use a bar, there's no special key or anything), it's called a drive cancel, you can also activate a mode that drains the bar progressively to make most moves cancellable into, letting you chain longer combos than normally possible while the bar isn't depleted. Finally there are "ultimate" super moves that need to either be in the hyper drive mode, or have both bars available, to activate (Neo Max moves, I know, names are weird).
The super gauge lets you use Supers (apparently Desperation move = Super move), enhanced versions of some specials (called EX versions), or some maneuvers (guard counter or guard escape iirc) for one bar, or Neo Max moves for several bars + the drive gauge.
There aren't that many different moves and apparently being able to cancel a move into another is a big thing, so I assume a bunch of the gameplay is about managing the drive bar and being able to find an opening to commit it and combo the opponent.
Considering replacing a fireball with another poly for the slowing meta, and maybe replacing a flamestrike, but I'm otherwise happy with this.
Hunters are still brutally hard to beat (need to luck out on the flares and get a really good start) and I still need to feel out the control warrior matchup (been a couple of CLOSE games and I can see how it can swing), but it's pretty damn solid otherwise.
Welp, lost 1-4 to a friend. Forgetting Robert's moves and randoming our teams the last 3 matches didn't turn out well. :x Man I'm so bad, rolling because I mash too much and running into him, and forgetting all the time about the crouching guard didn't go well for my stability. Touhou fighters don't punish you that much, you guard everything, you just lose more gauge (and thus get guard crushed more easily) if you do it incorrectly. So many sweeping kicks. D:
Also screw Mature. Moves too fast, can't even run in a corner and mash to try and find moves, she's on you in no time. And then I'm bad so I get hit. I gotta learn that for next time. Don't get hit. But I won't be able to net play anyway I think since I'll be at the hotel.

Everyone who says DDOS should be legal because peaceful protest are kidding themselves.
Who the fuck thinks that? Like, I want a list of names so I can make a petition to the government to not allow them to reproduce.
AKA anonymous and co. This is the internet, people are stupid.
I'd love to see an actual attempt at arguing that with logic and rational thought. Comparing DDoS to an organized protest(like, picketing, or sit-ins, or strikes) is laughable at best.
I suppose it'd be most like a sit-in. from my understanding of DDoS they send so many packets that legitimate users cannot access the service. like how people filling a restaurants seats in protest prevent legitimate customers from using the service.
though sit ins are not protected protest and result in arrests as well right?
both picketing and strikes theoretically don't prevent the service from being used unless its a mass scale strike, but thats done by employees not third parties.
The thing that differentiates it, is the ease. a DDoS requires significantly less people to shut down a service than a sit in does. and they can hide their identity. what good is a protest if its just three guys and a bunch of zombies and the guys never publicly make a stance or identify themselves. what good is a sit in with masks. you stop being people protesting a wrong, and you start just being troublemakers without that human element
Protesting against what I think would be the biggest question. "Im protesting against this streamer! Because.. reasons!" "Fuck blizzard lets get them for..what exactly? who cares fuck um" "These Riot guys are assholes, why wont they buff my champion"
The reality is as they've made a threat against an airliner them dudes are done. They got a flight diverted, yeah no.. thats a one way ticket to you done goofed your new cellmate is Carl and he thinks you're cute, kinda prison.
