Don't get me started. It was absolutely not. This episode is like a pretentious version of Pink Floyd's The Wall, but with less thought-provoking animation (and of course without one of the best rock pseudo-operas of all time). Ugh. One more to go. | ||

Where's the fucking plot? The fact that LOST managed to weave amazing character development and a gripping story for the first 2-3 seasons of the show is a massive feat, no doubt about that. The problem was the way they created their plotlines and their gripping story was to constantly hold their viewerbase hostage. By creating the ending they did, they didn't so much release the hostages as execute them. | ||

That's why, in the end, it was remade since it got so popular. Read the TL evangelion thread, it describes things so easy. It was also symbolism, and the creator had an ending in mind, but he wasn't able to show it thanks to the lack of money. | ||
