Yeah well lesson learned I suppose. Anyone have any suggestions for a PSU? I think my GPU has a 500W minimum so probably shoot for 600? The box was weird and it talked about a 500W and a 600W minimum but I don't have it with me right now so I forget the difference.
I already have my PSU packaged up for my RMA but it's clear it was below the minimum required power.

coolermaster and silverstone are both good companies to buy from.

It may not be needed to go to 600, but you have a lot of leeway when you chose to upgrade something in the future.

Pretty sure this is the one I have. I started with a 500w like 5 years ago, but as I upgraded, I was getting dangerously close to exceeding that and decided I'd rather have too much for a while than risk not having enough and needing to upgrade the PSU again.

What a lousy day. But, once I'm out of here, I'm gonna finish up my Scions and post some pictures, which should be fun. I'm also thinking of buying this bad boy + Show Spoiler + because I have problems with impulse control. How much is something like that worth? Also good morning, pretty excited I think I'm going to rip peoples faces off in league at some point this weekend. We have a model similar to that in our comic book shop in my town and I think the guy is selling it for $750 (Canadian). Also Shelke, our weekend plans sound very similar. I've just discovered the joy of Pantheon top lane hehe. Well maybe we can duo!! Aww yiss.
I can't guarantee how much I'll be available this weekend, as I think I'm going to be doing plenty of duo que with a friend. Of course that being said I think it'd be great to play with you sometime - my username is Frudgey so just send me an a friend request and I'll happily play with you when I can.
Probably my best bet is Saturday evening but I'll have to see what exactly is happening.

also, i'm surprised your original psu wasn't enough wattage. maybe the amps on the 12v rails weren't enough.

Yeah, I personally like to splurge a bit more when it comes to computer parts just because of how much time I spend with my computer - I want it to work right and be good.
My 16GB RAM should be in tomorrow. I think next on my list of upgrades is either another HDD or a bigger SSD (probably the latter)

If I didn't know any better, EG bought Spain, and now EG Curse.

+ Show Spoiler +chile seem so hungry to win that they are almost reckless in it. Spain is way too calm though. They need to pick up the pace. The game is already more action packed than some of the games in the last week at least

Write down your budget for spending and figure out how much disposable income you actually have after cost of living, saving, etc. Then figure out the compulsory buy stuff like travelling for game nights or that new Nyaaahri skin you just have to have.
If you have enough money to splurge on more models, sit and wait for a week. Paint the rest of your stuff that's being neglected. If a large proportion of your collection isn't painted, wait another week. If most of your stuff is painted, THEN buy an Imperial Knight.

So my card had a 500W minimum with one 75W 6 pin PCI and 600W with two 75W 6pin PCI (also says that it's recommended for AMD ChrossFire technology whatever that means. Think I only have one slot so it would just be a 500W minimum.
Edit: Order the cx600. Used my credit card cash back to splurge on next day shipping so I'll report back tomorrow.
