American Football is based off rugby, but it's quite different in a lot of things so it's a completely different sport. But because of it's origins it was called "Football." (In this case, "American Football") The word soccer is from British origin because soccer is called "Association Football," so they took association and abbreviated it into basically a slang term -> as>soc<iation -> soccer. (My work said "alot of it was just no comment") I worked in awful fucking conditions too. One hell of a way to meet your life partner, i'll give it that. | ||
