I'm only level 15, so I haven't gotten to a place where there would be world PvP, but I'm playing a stalker (rogue essentially), so I'm gonna love making people miserable later on. The first battleground is available at 15, and I played one last night. It was surprisingly fun. Chaotic as hell because of the way combat works, but I think it's got a lot of potential once I'm more used to it.

Cool thing is that Stalkers can tank if they spec/gear themselves right (I rogue tanked in Rift and loved it). I just have to figure out what kind of movesets I want for PvP/Tanking/PvE.

Also does anyone actually like the "new" (as in since like 2011) fries at Wendy's? I had some good ones yesterday, but I still feel like they were a downgrade on the old ones. Anyone else remember when Warsong Gulch was first released? So cool. Chilling outside the instance portal you literally had to walk into to queue (iirc) in northern barrens. Some alliance douchecanoes were always about trying to catch lowbies that were flagged. Magical times.

I've been to Wendy's about once in the past year or so and it happened to be last week. The fries were fine, I wasn't disappointed. I do seem to have fonder memories of Wendy's from back in the day then my more recent experiences. Double Cheeseburger Deluxes for $1, yes pls.

I have some really amazing memories of old school WoW.

The reason I like playing rogues now is because for months, there was an Ork rogue names Tokro that would terrorize the lowbies doing all the hunting quests in STV. Eventually, I made a rogue myself, and nothing felt as good as when I hit 60, found him, and ganked the shit out of him.

I really miss the community aspect of a server. Cross server dungeon finder was a really good implementation and made things much faster when trying to find a group, but damn did it sever the community feel of knowing/recognizing tons of people on your server

Hmm...well my rogue was the 3rd character I got to 60, so quite a while. But I'll never forgot that asshole <3

I played Alliance cuz that's where my friends were when I started. I did eventually make some Horde toons on another server, but I actually liked the Alliance leveling areas better for the most part.

edit: it's really bizarre to think that this was ~7 years ago
