Brendan and Glade also didn't expect Maru to come out as Ace, but I was almost sure he would, and he did. I don't know if KT expect him. Life would have a better chance against Maru, I'd say 50-50 than Zest. Zest PvT hasn't look to solid, or maybe Maru is a little too good these days.
Although I'd say Life looking a little stress lately, maybe adapting to a strict Kespa training regime, pressure to perform well, etc. Back when he was at Startale, he could pretty much do anything he likes.

Sure, it's all possible. But even if KT wins all games from now, all Samsung has to do is win against CJ or SKT and make the other series go to ace. That's why I really hope the boys bring their A-game next week. And Stats maybe some more weird strats. Whatever it takes to win.

You laugh about it, but all it takes is one player losing to Dear (which is easily possible for most players they could send against him, tbh), one player slipping up (i.e. someone getting sniped by Bravo) and an unlucky ace match. Also, Samsung can channel the power of Guilty.

Well, apart from Rain, SK and PartinG who decided not to play in korean teams, there aren't many players to throw money at.

They picked up Dear before the season who is now getting better and better, and they got sweet jackets. So if any Korean in a foreign team wants to go back to KeSPA, Samsung's got some great arguments.

Dear and Solar are in theory top players, like potentially among the best of their respective races. Reality, BravO and, in theory, Stork, all have the potential to be strong PL players, and the remaining of the team (Armani, Shine, ...) is strong. There's nothing wrong with Samsung's lineup in itself (it's probably better than last year's CJ, for example). And they had the mighty RorO too.
