Maru has been number one terran since his OSL championship to date. (maybe recently only INnoVation got on par with him) One of the best players overall likewise, even during the long period of time when the race was really underpowered and no terran could even make Code S. Competition today is a lot tougher than it was back in Wings of Liberty and players on a lot higher level than they were back then. | ||

Average game time will be shorter. There's no way you disagree, Zest and Trap played 4 macro games, Maru and Dream will either kill each other with one of the early aggressions found in the current TvT meta quickly or just yolodrop everything into the other's base at ~15 minutes. Every game. They aren't going to put on a 45 minute macro clinic, it's not their style. | ||

Anyway, it feels likely we'll go on to 6 or 7 games so the total game time will probably be about the same if not greater. | ||
