Unless SKT and KT win, and JAGW loses, in that case it's a 4-way tie with CJ, KT, ST and JAGW at a 4-3 score?
Which is now impossible since SKT is sitting pretty at 5-1 and +12
And? Currently : SKT 5-1 CJ 4-2 ST 4-2 JAGW 3-3 KT 3-3
If : -SKT wins CJ : SKT +1 (6-1) ; CJ -1 (4-3) -KT wins ST : KT +1 (4-3) ; ST -1 (4-3) -JAGW wins Khan : JAGW +1 (4-3)
Wouldn't that be decided by map difference though? CJ make the playoffs no matter what since KT and ST-yoe are playing each other. Either KT or ST-yoe can get ahead of them on map difference, but not both.
KT and ST are both -1, so whoever wins would definitely be in playoffs assuming Jin Air beats Samsung afterwards
Yeah, those two matches will determine who makes the playoffs. We'll know who the top 4 are after Monday, but we won't know the exact order until after SKT vs CJ.
Well, no... If KT and JinAir loses, we will know top4 after Prime vs MVP match, hehe.
Both those teams are one win behind Jin Air. Jin Air is at +4 map difference, Prime is at -4, MVP is at -6. So even if Jin Air lose 3-0 and Prime win 3-0, Jin Air will still finish ahead of Prime, as far as I understand it.
Isn't there head-to-head tiebraker? If there isn't, why Liquipedia says, that Prime and MVP could still advance?
There's only tiebreakers if the map score is equal, so there's no way for Prime to place higher than 5th. That is unless penalty points come into play.

Looking at results from last year, it was done by map difference (Jin Air finished above IM despite losing to them). I'm guessing that if two teams had same number of wins and same map difference then the head-to-head would be the tiebreaker.

Ah, oh well. That's a shame. It would be hilarious if Prime would advance into the playoffs.

If they have the ability to beat KT and Jin Air, they very well could at least one of these rounds. If they really just picked up one more big name player they'd actually maybe be decent.

If they would have some player like Action f.e., they could be quite good. It wouldn't ensure them playoff spot for every round, but they could actually get in, here and there.
