However, he lost to Soulkey, Skyhigh and PartinG in this tournament, so he doesn't belong in the final of this tournament. You dont know that,he might have lost to TY in the first round and to parting in the 2nd. They were all 1-1 going to the final round.

Might be the case, but in that case he lost to TY. Anyway, he got eliminted in the group stages and again by TY/PartinG.

Was lukewarm with MK back in the old days, but I'm really happy to see old players (from 2010) stay relevant even 4 years into the game. And doing it in Korea no less!

According to the recommended games polls in the OP, MarineKing vs PartinG game 3 and Zest vs Soulkey game 2 are the most recommended. The former may be slightly biased though.

But I think nobody saw Zest beating Soulkey, especially when he's in a PvZ slump right now. Oh well. Good job Zest. What pvz slump? The only people he dropped a series against in the last few months (granted we didn't get to see a lot of his pvz recently) were soO(absurdly close) Life (weird series all in all should be noted Zest won the only long game in it) and solar (zvp master) + he beat soulkey very easily last time they played (gsl ro16) Why wouldn't you consider Zest the favorite going in?

I hope MKP 2.0 is here to stay because the scene could use him being good again! The scene is so boring without the king! I think he is here to stay. He really is the best Terran (maybe also fOrGG) right now, no questions asked. The way he played versus Parting was unbelievable. We have not seen a Terran this good since Mvp back in the day. But yes, let's hope he can pull off perfect play like this always. Excited to him 3-0 Zest later. Also excited to see him dominate foreign tournaments like back in the day. I don't think anybody in the world can stop MarineKing right now. I think MarineKing and fOrGG might be tied for best Terran in the world right now. Life is the best Zerg in the world. And it's hard to tell who is the best Protoss in the world right now since none of them are doing that well right now.
