As far as I'm concerned I enjoyed both MLG Winter 2013 and what I saw of MLG Spring 2013, so it'd be cool if we just had both formats for different tournaments, instead of trying to meld them together. They're both cool formats, I'd love to see them both at different events. | ||

So instead of screwing everything up to do something you don't care about, just make it simple. Either do an invitational, or do a pre-seeded bracket filled in with an open bracket. There are many tournaments that don't have open brackets, MLG doesn't have to either. | ||
