He played 3 very standard TvZ series and advanced by outplaying 2 of his 3 opponents. Those were some very solid games.

I don't think that was as bad an engagement as Artosis made it out to be. Sleep was saturated on three bases well before Soulkey, and he wanted to extend that advantage by forcing Soulkey to defend while he teched to hydras. The supply count differential remained the same at the end of the fight, so Sleep didn't really sacrifice anything. Sleep did play pretty well ![]()

sure his creep spread and injects weren't as good as they coulda been, but he was good at other important things like vs. widow mine micro and just getting good engagements

D: he was bad mechanically but strategically he played well This. So much this. He's a really clever zerg. He did the most standard thing in the book. I don't know what's so clever about that. Step 1: scout and go for roach tech Step 2: build up a roach count if no mutas Step 3: force combats with your roaches, because if your opponent has done anything that is not mass roaches you just win (g1) Step 4: repeat step 3 with roach/hydra (g3) Step 5: repeat step 3 with roach/hydra/infestor Edit: well, it's actually clever to play standard. ![]()
