Meh, think he should've gone for a little +2 timing on the third.
It appears I have been chosen.

I do so enjoy seeing Immortal heavy Protoss armies in PvP. Something so satisfying when you hear the heavy THOOM THOOM of so many Disruptor Cannons.

Wha?

I'm referring to the sheer number of Protoss that made it to the Ro8 and therefore having the overwhelming pleasure of watching one of the best mirror MUs this planet has ever seen <3

It's arguably the best mirror in the game right now.

I thought you were being sarcastic :p, if it's serious nvm my post haha.

Yeah, man, I'd argue TvT is still (or better: finally again) the best mirror by far

To each his own I guess. I think a fair point can be made for PvP though, it's faaaaar from aa bad as it used to be.

It's hard to tell right now. TvT's best games were fucking mindblowingly amazing, full of action throughout, inhumane displays of macro, micro, multitasking and strategy. That said, PvP right now is a lot better than the hellbat vs hellbat shit we used to see a few months ago.

I guess TaeJa vs Polt will show us where we stand. ^^

Oh definitely, TvT in its day was by far the best mitror. Things like gumiho v mma were sl amazing.

Actionwise it's the opposite.

Look at the game. Two toss getting deathballs, clash, gg.

In ZvZ there's action every single minute.

TvT IMO is still at least 3 >>> better than PvP and ZvZ.

Nice zoning by the Tempests as Hasu went for Welmu's fourth.

Could be because they're exhausted from all the eSports this weekend, could be because Protoss, could be because they only care about the main event (semi-finals and finals)... who knows. I do expect more people to tune in for NaNiwa's series though. ^^

Yes. Same for the winner of NaNiwa/Vortix.

Was too obvious Hasu wins... Welmu had a short span of time where he might have killed Hasu. But he decided to camp all day and wait for enough Tempests.

Meh i don't like PvP. Mostly it's either short build order win games or long games where both just sit at their base (like this one).

It's 3-6:47 in the morning in the US and most of us are exhausted from the NA finals. We're the fans that bring the REAL passion. So that explains the somewhat stifled enthusiasm.

The above was written entirely tongue and cheek in attempt to mock the posters who constantly write about making tournament times convenient for European audiences on the same above basis.

The endless drops and counter-drops, hellion runbys and the tank-marine positional play... awesome times. TvT will be as entertaining / more entertaining as it was once people figure the matchup out I'm sure!
