The other options are retirement or play another game (Dota, LoL) WC3 is dead and buried
Better milk what you can from SC2, I guess

Pretty much. At least it's over quickly, one way or the other.
Anything other than this slow frustrating death by a thousand glave worms.

He did almost win IEM half a year ago... but yeah his HotS performance is pretty lackluster

I don't see it that way at all. I think he will always be highly respected as a gamer. Certainly his stream numbers remain high.

SO is this a losers bracket or something, Liquipedia page doesnt show any of these matches.

Yeah he's not going to match his WC3 achievements, but really if that's your expected benchmark for him to hit you had grossly unrealistic expectations.

Why on earth would he retire if he enjoys playing? He doesn't do that bad (again back in PL), and remember he just comes of a 2? week vacation. He's player better then i thought and as long as he doing decent, he will always has his fanbase.
But hey, we heard this shit after a month Grubby started playing SC2.

Pretty much. He has improved a lot too, as a player. And, like others, is still figuring out HOTS. I think he is also trying to work on his own style, specifically a Protoss style for HOTS. By this I mean calculated aggression, mobility, and especially scouting (he is one of the few Protoss I see, on stream and in games, who make a point of repeatedly using hallucination for scouting). I respect him as a Protoss player, and have a great deal of respect for him as a role model for professional gamers.

They are playing a 8 man ffa after Select vs Golden

select's multitasking is great, but i think he committed too much.

I think the T has to keep the pressure on against zerg to delay the 4th,5th and ultra/infestor tech.
