So tough being a MKP fan....that game one build was basically what I used to do when I got desperate about my god-awful TvZ back in plat league....and it didn't work then either....at least game two was somewhat promising....but still I think he would be better served by playing standard instead of always trying odd timings

He really does need better zerg practice partners.

It's really kinda sad for those who started following SC2 with the eSF players. At the same time it's pretty amazing how the KeSPA players are sweeping the GSL hard. The next seasons will have a ratio of 80/20 KeSPA/eSF mix of players, i'd bet.

Would it be good for KeSPA to just absorb eSF? They'd have to drop non-performing players though, probably only take those who've made it to Code S for next season.

Unlikely. There are 15-20 KeSPA A-teamers still having great difficult just making it to Code A. They seem to start sweeping away once they reached that level though.
By seasons 3 end, the likely scenario is something like 70/30 at best/worst. most likely something like 60/40

I wonder if there are just more Kespa players in general, thus giving them a better chance to have more players in GSL.

Watched Flash's game. He's going to have to work on his ghost control. This isnt going to cut it against players like Rain and Parting. I think for every emp/snipe, there was two feedbacks on his ghosts.
He won g2 basically on brute force and starving out his opponent

Didn't watch the games, but I definitely felt the exact same way when he played vs Parting. He took noticeably a LOT more feedbacks then I ever remember seeing a terran take, and that wasn't just because he was playing against Parting. Interesting that it happened again

I daresay that Avenge is pretty much best eSF protoss right now.

Squirtle is inconsistent, inheriting the spirit of Bomber.

"Old" IM protoss look weak right now, but they got promissing players in Seed and YongHwa.

FXO_Tear is playing pretty good lately, but he choked in his games against Shine really hard.

Well...
True, but one of the reasons is definitely that many ESF players switched to another region - Kespa players not so much. About 15-20 ESF players switched and only 1 Kespa player (Jaedong).

Taeja's ghost control was pretty monstrous when he was at his peak too, still not bad nowadays!

Clear out players who are on foreign teams, which makes them not eSF players. I doubt you can name 15-20 eSF players in WCS EU or AM region.
