I actually think fantasy has slowly but steadily been improving in sc2, I feel like he's going to be one to watch out for by the end of this year.

It's hard to say, I think he's just not " complete " enough and often reads the game wrong. There was a recent PL game where he was playing against a Protoss on Fighting Spirit and he tried to be aggressive after his timing was lost vs a 2 base zealot/archon with heavy upgraded without using ghosts, he played decently but slowly lost because of the unit composition disadvantage. Most of the games I see him lose are either to bad decisions or not macroing well enough. He constantly floats resources just like he did in Brood war despite sc2's easier macro system.

Since it is a new game, it is very hard to predict exactly who would do good, even if you can find some patterns (like younger players adapting better to the new game than old players). The reason why Fanta isn't as good in sc2 (yet) could be something banal, like he doesn't enjoy the new game as much or something like that.

That's just sad, fucking up on the basics... let's hope he picks up. SKT coaches should feed him with Flash replays for his macro problems. INnoVation replays to learn proper unit compositions.
