Hmm, group A seems interesting.

If ForGG wins game 2, he goes through. If he loses, he's eliminated.
If Sase wins both games 2 and 3, he goes through.
If Forgg loses game 2 but wins game 3, Nerchio goes through.

Am I understanding this correctly?

Nooo, Sase needs to take only 1 game to go through. He will get 3-4 in map score at worst, thus getting the 2nd place.

Why? If fOrGG wins 2 games he is also 3-4. And he wins head2head.

I'm bad.

Just a few hours ago, people were talking about how insane the skill gap between Koreans and EU was... now the KR are jetlagged?

It's the first day , all the players flying from Korea are jet lagged yes .

I just don't get why they don't travel earlier to the event . It costs to much maybe . :x

I don't get it. Coca appears after he's been away from the scene for so long. It's well known that he has many passionate fans. There are 12 simultaneous casting streams. Nobody casts his games. #cantcompute

If my math is correct Nerchio is already out.

Hes currently 3-5, SaSe is 2-3 and ForGG is 2-4:

If ForGG wins 2-0 he advances with 3-4 > 3-5/2-4
If ForGG wins 2-1 , he is 3-5, Nerchio is 3-5 and SaSe is 3-4 -> SaSe advances.
If SaSe wins with any score he advances

Yeap, thats correct.

Two Liquid and two Empire players in a group and they both play each other in the last two Bo3s to determine who advances. This opens the way for the huuuuuuuuuge opportunity to matchfix among teammates. Especially now since someone could already be knocked out.

Grubby did proxy oracle both games. Polt handled it badly. Then Grubby's upgrades took out Polt's.

He actually handled the proxy Oracle perfectly in game 1 in my opinion, he just failed the follow ups completely and made a lot of mistakes.

It could happen, but I don't think it's a significant risk. But yeah, maybe next time Dreamhack can take into account these kinds of things

Apollo with anyone is pretty nice. I got nothing against Incontrol though, he's good. I still think Artosis & Apollo is one of my favorite combinations, too bad it doesn't happen too often.
I am here in the shadows.
